I would like to welcome you to the "Two
Guys Home Improvement's" Web Site. I hope you find what you are
looking for and if not, please just call and ask. I have taken some
projects that we have done and tried to present them in a way that you
may see what might be involved in these projects. Or you may
simply get some ideas for your project.
My Name is Ed Caballero and I am the
owner of Two Guys and I would like to tell you a little bit about
myself and my views on being a Home Improvement Contractor. To
reiterate, my philosophy is simple, "One Project at a time." I
have listened to many homeowner's concerns
and issues when dealing with other contractors and I have made the
foundation of my business on helping the customer to feel at
ease with those concerns and issues. Rest assured that when I start
your project I am not leaving until you are completely satisfied.

One
Project at a time might prevent me from being a huge
company, but that's not what I am seeking. I am very
content with where my company is today and I
know that my future is only as good as making
homeowners comfortable and happy. I will continue
to satisfy the homeowner when they are dealing with
their projects and myself. I know that all my
customers can attest to the fact that I have taken
the time with them well before and during their
project to help with design and layout. In addition
to meeting with them at different locations where
they needed help or advice, I have met with them at
places such as tile stores, Home Depots, Lowes,
building supply centers, as well as kitchen design
centers. Everyone is different and some people may
not know what supplies are necessary nor the amount
required. This is what separates Me from the
rest of the contractors. Contractors really need to
take the time with the customer and go over every
facet of their project.
In
addition, homeowners might not know or care to know
that some contractors do not have the licensing
requirements to perform certain services such as
Plumbing, or Electric. Rest assured that for every
project, I have a separate licensed Plumber and
Electrician on the job site so that you know that
these items are being handled by licensed
professionals. The one thing that bothers me the
most is when I hear from homeowners that had certain
projects completed or will have them performed at a
future date, that they were not aware if or how the
contractor was doing certain things. It is essential
the the homeowner be a part of the project as much
as possible. Home Improvement Contractors are not
permitted to do anything in those departments unless
they hold a separate license. I understand
that homeowners shop around, and so they should.
However, sometimes homeowners might not know if the
reason they might be getting something cheaper is
because that particular contractor is doing things
he/she shouldn't be doing to help save in the cost
or bottom line profit. The inexpensive way is not
always the right way, and at the end it costs the
homeowner twice as much money, time and grief to
fix problems which should have been done correctly
the first time around.
I sincerely hope that
my Website brings you some peace of mind and perhaps
answers some questions that you might have had. Good
luck with any and all of your projects to come!
